What is Diwali about?
To celebrate the return of their king and queen, people light lights in the dark new moon night to show the way. On Diwali, people reflect on the good things in life, seek enlightenment and the right path in life. Diwali kindles the inner light - the light of knowledge, compassion and joy.
In yoga, light is a symbol to describe consciousness. Light gives us clarity and determination.
