Small but very nice...
The chocolate long pepper has a fine note of dark chocolate and nuts. The medium spiciness is a bit delayed, so this is the perfect pepper if you don't want a dish to have a dominant peppery spiciness.
Like many other complex spices, the chocolate long pepper loses a lot of its aroma and fine flavor nuances if it is heated for a long time... so please only use the chocolate pepper at the "last minute" when cooking...
Well suited for game dishes, dark meat, root vegetables and desserts.
